A. Executive summary

I have developed an online class for non Arabic speakers is called EDUC102Arabic introduction. This course is totally an online course. Also, it is created to assist step by step university student to learn the basic of Arabic language such as reading, writing, and speaking Arabic like native Arabic speaker Also, learn how to use Arabic dictionary and some of Arabic costumes at the end of the course the student will evaluate the course content this class is give chance to student to have better chance to get communicate easily with Arabs people . The goal of this course to support student to practice Arabic language by learn how to use online technology skills such as blog, Skype and E- mail to communicate with the instructor and student with each other .Also, encourage student to use critical thinking strategy when student critic each other work at online discussion part by evaluate each other work in their blog .Moreover, student will take apart to answer all the assignment that related to each session in this Arabic course.

Delivery and evaluation of "Good Start"

My Student of this course was volunteers non Arabic undergraduate student their ages start from 18to 25 years old these student study in business program. In this online course I have created a website and implement all the material of my course in to this website. My aim of session 2 is to teach student how to create an online tool like blog and post their assignment in to their blog. Also, create a Skype account. By go over YouTube links I have implement all the document require for session in my website which is http://www.educ102arabicintro.webuda.com/ that has all the require document for the entire course and especially session 2 and send it to my student as E-mail.

State the objective(s) of the session.

• The student will be able to create their blog and Skype account
• The student will be able to introduce his/her self in their blog.
• The student will be able to post their answers of the assignments questions in their blog.
• the student will be able to create a Skype account.
• The student will be able to send their Skype ID and Blog URL by Email to the instructor.
State the objectives of your online instruction.
• Improve technology skills and expand student knowledge by give the opportunity to learn how to use and create blog by go over power point.
• Choosing one of blog template and start to create a blog.
• Answers the entire eight questions that related to session and try to use good grammar and sentence.
• Post all students answers in their blog.

• Create a Skype account by review the YouTube links that been provide.

Who did you deliver it to?

I delivered session 2 volunteers students home are non Arabic speaker undergraduate student their ages start from 18to 25 years old these student study in business program. There are will know of using the technology. The students live off campus and have access to internet connection in their home. This class can be taking in deferent place for example like, university, library and home. My students have inspiration to improve their knowledge by learning Arabic language and use online technology such as blog. In this online course I have created a website and implement all the material of my course in to this website. My aim of session 2 is to teach student how to create an online tool like blog and each student post their answers in their blog. Then send it there blog URL and Skype ID as e mail to the instructor.

When and where did it take place?

The Arabic course website was delivered on Friday march 20 /2011 that include session 2 assignment ,step by step PowerPoint and all the blog and Skype site and YouTube likes that related to this session. This assignment was due on 27/5/2011.all the delivery process toke place By sending My Arabic course as Email to all my student at cal state san Bernardino. Also, I include step by step instructions on how to navigated the information and assignment of this session.

How did you deliver it ?

My online Arabic class was delivered by Email to my volunteer undergraduate student. Also, I asked my student to go over the link witch I did implement is http://www.educ102arabicintro.webuda.com/ .Then, I send step by step instruction that guide my student to the assignment and PowerPoint of session 2 that I create .the power point was designed to help student to create there blog and how to post there assignment in there blog. Also, I asked my students to fallow these steps which is each student should review Course syllabus -> go over session 2 on schedule ->review blog power point ->assignment session 2 ->post you answer in your blog-> send your Blog URL to the instructor. Also, the student was communicating with the instructor by Email when they have any question. All student of this course were active and well respond to all the question in the assignment of session two .At the end of the session after I get the student work I did evaluate the students progress by graded their work and sent there evaluation by e mail . These students are the same group of my online discussion.
How did you evaluate your "Good Start"?
I did evaluate my “Good Start” martial based on course design and how did student fallow all the direction on my website on session 2 .In my course students can go to my website without have any difficulty with the construction of my course so the student can easy access my website from any place. Also, I go over the student achievement of this session by go over the student blog and look over the answers of each question and check on the sentence and splinting. The Interaction and collaboration process was effective on my course the student was sending Email to the instructor and navigate the content without have any problem .Also, student of this course did all the requirement of this session in perfect way. The course assessment of this class I evaluated their work when student were respond to all the assignment question and send it to the instructor. In learning support part, every student email their answers to the instructor and I gradated there assignment and give feedback on their work so student can upgrade their work to have better chance to get high grade. All grades were post based on the quality of each student development skills.

What evaluation result did you find?
The result I get from my online class was great .The student were active and send all requirement by e mail. Two of my students send the assignment before due date but the third one student sent the assignment after one day of the due date. All students took A for this session because my students have designed good blog that has all the answers of the question. All student have gather the objective of session 2 Also all student was created there Skype id and send it with blog URL to the instructor.


C. Delivery and evaluation of "Online Discussion"
a. State the objective(s) of the session.

1-Student will be able to know about the Arab costume dress for men and woman.
2-Student will be able to know some of Arabic traditional dress by using internet searching tools like Google scalar and university library.
3-Student will able to mastered there critic skills by writing comment on other student post.
4-Each student should respond to session four in two level and there word rang 200-400 words.
5-All answers of each level should be post in student blog before due date of each level.
6-Every student should comment on other student post and post there comment in their blog or other student blog.

State the objectives of your online instruction.

1-Student will learn to critic each other work through there blog.
2-Student will explore new information by answers the entire question that related to the session.
3-Student will use the university library and Google to find more information that related to the topic.
4-Student will motivate each other by writing comment in each other blog.
5-Student learns how to get feedback from each other.
6- Student will respond to the two level questions for session 4

How did you deliver it?

I delivered online discussion to my students by e mail each volunteer’s business major students.

I was evaluating each level of respond in one rubric that I created.
For level one ,I go over the student achievement of this session by go over the student blog and look over the answers of each question and check on the sentence and splinting is right. Also, I look over how student understand the content that I provide in the three links that I implement in the assignment document about Arabic man and women costume .I also, grated The Interaction process between student and collaboration process was effective on my course the students were sending Email to the instructor and navigate the content without have any problem .Also, student did all the requirement of this session in perfect way. In level two, I was grated the student critic each other’s work by answer the question on the assignment document. Also, how student support each other by writing good comment to enrich other classmate work. All the grade was require each student to done there work before due date and write clear answers on the documents that been provide for student and beware of the words length of each level.

What evaluation results did you find?
The result I get from my online class was great .The student were active and send all the assign answers by e mail. Also, all my three volunteers students send the assignment before due date. Two of my student took “A “for this session but the third one missed some of the important idea of the session and I gave him “B”. Lessons learned from the delivery/evaluation experience.
I never have been a full time teacher in my life. I tanks Doctor Amy leh to give me this great opportunity to communicate with student .this was great experience I learned how to be active teacher by communicate and motivate my student. At the first time of delivery of this course I didn’t find student to take my course, then I was navigated at the university to find any student would like to participate in my class. Moreover, my brother promote his friend to take my class and they were supportive and welcome to be apart of my delivery. In this class my concern about how to give clear description to guide my student how to take my class. Also, I was contact with my student s by e mail ,Skype and cell phone .However, i like to be as a teacher and did enjoy this amazing experience I really like it.
